This is a museum quality Hopi very important necklace handmade by the very famous artist, Charles Loloma. Charles is known as one of the most important Native American jewelry designers as he contains very distinctive creations. He began silversmithing and creating these amazing master pieces in about 1956. This beautiful necklace contains a marvelous square shaped silver pendant that consists of a wonderful Number 8 turquoise, lapis and coral stone. The pendant measures around 3/4" X 1/2" including the thick silver bail. This necklace contains a stunning handmade silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. I absolutely love this necklace as it is so remarkable being made by maybe the most famous artist in history, just incredible. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Hopi artist, Charles Loloma. The length of the necklace measures around 25". Sturdy 15 grams.
