An astonishing vintage Navajo silver necklace. This is an outstanding silver bead necklace that hosts five incredible pendant stations that each have a turquoise stone of Bisbee, Royston or Morenci - that are then surrounded with silver rope and the marvelous scalloped edging! This piece looks fabulous on the neckline! A quick note on the turquoise hailing from the three different mines... Bisbee turquoise is known for its striking deep blue color, often with reddish-brown or chocolate-brown matrix patterns, which give it a unique and desirable appearance. The Bisbee mine produced a limited amount of turquoise, making it rare and highly sought after. Royston turquoise is a well-known type of turquoise found in the Royston mining district in Nevada, USA. It is highly valued for its beautiful colors, which often include shades of green, blue, and brown. Royston turquoise can have a unique matrix pattern, which adds to its visual appeal and individuality. And Morenci turquoise is known for its deep blue color, often with a range of matrix patterns that can include pyrite, iron, and quartz. The matrix is the web-like pattern that naturally occurs within the turquoise stone, adding character and uniqueness to each piece. Sterling silver. The length of the necklace measures around 18".
