This was a diss song to the city of Compton, California by Tim Dog of Bronx, New York. It was produced by the legendary Ced Gee of the Ultramagnetic MC's. Tim Dog decided to direct his anger towards Compton Rappers, because he didn't like the fact that they/the Compton MC's were receiving a lot of attention at the time, due to a shift in Hip Hop/Rap. The shift was pulling the attention from the grip of New York kung fu gripped clutch and the West Coast Gangster Rappers were taking the attention in a new direction. It appeared that Tim Dog and possibly others (especially those who loved this song) couldn't accept the fact that Hip Hop was becoming more and more about the world, versus the local New York scene. Basically, the world was growing and some didn't like that, so they directed their anger at Compton MC's. Compton had lot's of MC's/groups who were more relevant at this time. Eazy E, MC Ren, Ice Cube (who's really from South Central), Dr. Dre, the entire NWA, Compton's Most Wanted, DJ Quik and others West Coast MC's.
