Hyperlite Ranger Wakesurf Board 2023
Brian Grubb and Scott Bouchard have created some of the most successful surf shapes in the Hyperlite lineup. The Ranger is the latest addition to their history of success. The Ranger has a full woven carbon DuraShell construction making it the lightest and most responsive surfer ever created with our exclusive Durashell construction process. DuraShell boards are some of the most durable on the market as well, perfect for a high-end board like the Ranger. Scott Bouchard combined the speed of a sharper rail with the loose, surfy feel of a round rail in the new hybrid rail design. This new rail offers the best of both creating a unique ride. The Ranger can be ridden in different fin configurations, providing surf or skim characteristics.

DURASHELL CONSTRUSTION
Developed to deliver the feel of a handmade surfer with the durability of compression molding. DuraShell surfers are very lightweight for the volume they carry, instantly giving you that handmade feeling. An innovative form of compression molding and vacuum finishing, DuraShell surfers are super durable and drop resistant at a price that suites most of today’s passionate wakesurfers. Hyperlite offers many unique shapes for both surf and skim style surfing with our DuraShell Construction. Don’t be fooled the copycats, only Hyperlite has perfected this technique producing the best surfers on the market today.

LAYERED GLASS
Our fiberglass is available in 3 weights depending on the board. Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass, every Hyperlite deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
HYBRID RAIL DESIGN
Blending of sharper rails for speed and rounded rails for carving, cruising and feel.
SINGLE CONCAVE BASE
Channels water down the center of the board for a solid and controlled feel.
LAP CONSTRUCTION
Top & bottom fiberglass laminates overlap around at the rail to increase strength reinforcing the board.
TAIL PROFILE - MID
Traditional surfboard tail shape for quick carving and maneuverability.
TAIL SHAPE - PIN
Commonly used on skim-style shapes the pin tail is super fast down the line and spins easily.
THRUSTER TRI FIN
Surfing's most popular setup, tri-fin is ideal for surfers of all ability levels, the 3rd or center fin provides additional stability and maneuverability.
