The HALO RL4 Bluetooth recessed downlight is the perfect way to get started with smart home lighting, whether you’re looking to outfit your entire home or just a single room. All you need to set it up is a Bluetooth-enabled device and the free HALO Home app; unlike other systems, there’s no internet connection or “hub” required. Once installed, you’ll be able to easily control and program the lighting from your mobile device—from color temperature fine-tuning and dimming to set the mood, to automatic scheduling and even voice control (via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.) And with a wide range of HALO Home indoor/outdoor fixtures and accessories to choose from, you can expand and customize your new smart lighting system to your heart’s content.

- Your home's lighting is a voice command away when you pair with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant (requires Internet Access Bridge, sold separately)
- Connect and control using Bluetooth connection (no internet required) or add even more convenience with a range of easy-to-use controls & accessories
- DIY-friendly and easy to install with friction blades (clips)
- Compatible with most 4 in. recessed housings; works best with HALO H995, H99, and E4 (E26 series) model cans
- You won’t be replacing bulbs anytime soon. HALO’s LED lights can run for 50,000 hours—that’s about 22 years with typical use of 6 hours/day
- Compared to a 60W incandescent light bulb and trim, low-wattage LED (8W) saves up to $400 in energy costs over the fixture’s lifetime
