Very Rare Vintage Native American Navajo Amber Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo large squash blossom necklace and earring set. This remarkable necklace consists of 11 phenomenal oval shaped Amber stones which is actually ancient tree sap. Surrounding the stones are wonderful ropes with sun bursting patterns. The impressive large silver naja pendant measures around 2-3/8" X 2-1/8" and consists of outstanding stampings including teepees, sun works, dotted patterns, and half moon patterns. I absolutely love the beautiful plethora of handmade round silver beads that rest throughout the majority of the necklace with a traditional silver clasp. What I also love about this piece is that it comes with a stunning matching pair of clip on silver earrings. Located in the center of each earring is a wonderful Amber stone. Each earring measures around 1-1/4" X 3/4". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Marc James . The length of the necklace measures around 31". Sturdy 137 grams.
