One Of The Best Vintage Native American Navajo Hand Tooled Sterling Silver Gold Necklace
This is an impressive Navajo very long silver and gold accent necklace. This remarkable necklace contains a phenomenal hand carved silver bear pendant at the bottom that measures around 2-1/4" X 2-1/4" including the large silver bail. Accenting the silver bear pendant is a beautiful section of 14k gold stamped teepee patterns. Resting throughout the rest of the necklace are outstanding handmade round and tubyle shaped silver beads with the tubule beads consisting of more marvelous accenting gold patterns with center teepee patterns. Located at the ends of the necklace are silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver and 14k gold, marked . Cir. 1980's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Ray Tafoya. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 115 grams.
