The Rain Bird 8SA-RVAN combines water efficiency with the accuracy and simplicity of 45 to 270 pattern adjustment by hand, with no tools. To adjust the sprinkler pattern just push down firmly and turn the top cap. To adjust distance from 8 ft. to 14 ft., turn the stem collar. No other multi-stream rotor is so easy to fine tune, allowing you to keep water on the grass or garden, not on the sidewalk or driveway. The sprinkler produces low precipitation rates of only 0.6 in. per hour, reducing water use up to 30%. The water droplets are gentle enough for newly seeded areas and hillsides, yet cover more area than standard pop-up sprays. The nozzle's water droplets are also larger than those of pop-up sprays, resisting windblown overspray.
