Mailed from Carbondale PA Mar 31st 1938 to Brooklyn NYC:

Hello Big Boy, Got your card and sure happy to hear from you. I’m alright. So you’re a working man. Glad to hear that not every one can work. I didn’t fight in 3 weeks. But I expect to fight the 13 of April with some fellow from N.Y so if I do I’ll write and let you know…Your pal “Wild’ Cat”

His next fight on the 13th of April, where he fought and beat Ray Napolitano, a TKO in the 2nd round.

His first fight was Sept. 4th 1926, last March 11th 1949 (no fights during WW2 + few more years afterwards).
