Important Vintage Native American Navajo Rug Sterling Silver Inlay Squash Blossom Necklace
This is a breathtaking Navajo intricately inlaid silver squash blossom necklace. This is one of the finest most intricate inlaid silver squash blossom necklace we have collected all year as the detailing is absolutely phenomenal. The bottom very large inlaid rectangular shaped silver pendant consists of a beautiful inlaid Native woman weaving a rug. The bottom pendant measures around 2-5/8" X 2" and consists of brown stone, onyx, orange spiny oyster, coral, turquoise and white stone. Located throughout the rest of the necklace are impeccable inlaid silver pendants that consist of baskets, pizza stones, spatulas and dragonflies. The intricacy and attention to detail on this necklace is truly magnificent. Situated throughout the necklace are superior handmade round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Cal Desson. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 193 grams.
