This is an impressive vintage Navajo turquoise and silver large necklace handmade by the famous artist, Ben Begaye. This phenomenal necklace contains five very large Blue Gem turquoise stones with each measuring around 7/8" X 1/2". Surrounding the stones on this marvelous necklace are impeccable silver works that consist of leaves, swirling stems, raindrops, flowers and ropes. The intricacy and detailing of the necklace is absolutely astonishing. Situated throughout the rest of the necklace are beautiful thick and sturdy handmade silver links with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye . The length of the necklace measures around 30". Sturdy 129 grams.
