This is a museum quality vintage Navajo large chunky turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This outstanding necklace contains a beautiful plethora of chunky Bisbee turquoise stones with the largest measuring around 7/8" X 1/2". Surrounding the stones are impressive silver works that consist of ropes, stems and raindrops. I absolutely love the detailing on this remarkable squash blossom necklace. Resting at the bottom is a phenomenal sturdy double silver shank naja pendant that measures around 3" X 3". Resting throughout the necklace are wonderful handmade round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Such a breathtaking squash blossom necklace. Bisbee turquoise is a highly prized and sought-after type of turquoise that comes from the Bisbee mine in Bisbee, Arizona, USA. Turquoise is a blue-green mineral that has been used for thousands of years in jewelry and decorative arts.
