Grimm's 46pc Basic Building Set

Grimms building block set is wonderful for small children because of its simple geometrical forms. This forms give room for the creativity, train the fine motor skills and the logical and spatial thinking.

This set is also wonderful in combination with the Basic Building Set (#10200) with basic forms and less blocks.

Standard Building Set includes 46 building blocks in a wooden frame.

Materials: lime wood, non-toxic water-based colour stain/non-toxic plant based oil finish.

Size: frame length: 44,5cm. single blocks: 4cm thick and 4-16cm long.

Grimm's is producing natural and sustainable wooden toys. As a result, items always have unique markings since wood grain changes structures and colours. This serves as proof of its natural origins. The unique variations are proof of the toy’s quality and not a defect.

An outstanding and unique characteristic of all Grimm's building blocks is the velvety surface which arises because we use colour glaze that penetrates into the wood, leaving a matte finish rather than a glossy one. It may sporadically happen with products that initially some excess colour pigments will get released which results in colour transfer. We recommend wiping the transferred surface with a wet, lint-free cloth to remove colour pigments.

Grimms stands for quality and long life. When making their toys, Grimms carefully selects the wood. At each step, the quality of the wood is checked. But wood lives and responds to air changes. Wood is a natural product and not indestructible, so we cannot rule out that something breaks. Children should be advised and prompted to use caution with their special toys. However, if something breaks, you can repair the damage with wood glue.
