Gasp!! All Silver Vintage Navajo Sterling Squash Blossom Necklace
This is a tremendous vintage Hopi hand carved silver squash blossom necklace. This wonderfully hand carved silver necklace consists of 8 marvelous large rounded silver squashes that each measure around 1-1/2" in diameter. Located on the squashes are fascinating deep carvings that consist of geometric patterns, paw patterns and kokopelli patterns. Located at the bottom of the necklace is a remarkable large rounded silver pendant that consists of a geometric maze pattern. The bottom rounded silver pendant measures a whopping 2" in diameter. Resting throughout the entire necklace are wonderful large rounded silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Hopi artist, Star pattern. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 169 grams.
