After all these years of rumors and speculation, Hasbro has finally chosen now as the time to reveal the never-before-released Vintage Classic Pretender Megatron action figure!
Displayed in the same majestic vintage gold-box style packaging from the tail-end era of the original Generation One Transformers toy line, the world has been awaiting the the release of Pretender Megatron! It was always speculated that the Decepticon leader had taken the form of a human being during that nucleon-infused storyline of Transformers, but now, at the start of 2021, we can finally put the mystery to rest.
Megatron no longer turns into a firearm due to gun-safety standards that have evolved since the 1980's, but Hasbro had done their due-diligence back in 1989 and chosen to have Megatron become a tank. How forward thinking! Unfortunately, this figure had to hit the cutting room floor due to budget constraints, but now it comes in the form of a Collecticon Toys exclusive!
The incredible supervillain Megatron has never before been constructed in such an amazing likeness. Although staying true to the Pretender gimmick of the time, Megatron takes on a human visage that helps him walk amongst the humans without their knowledge. Any one of us could've been the evil Megatron in disguise!
This figure will be made in very limited quantities and will command a modest asking price that should turn the tide of any disputed results in your collection.
